East 10th Street Civic Association

Initiatives

The Civic Association facilitates the development and rehabilitation of many resources along the East 10th Street neighborhood business district. The Association’s first revitalization project, 10 East Main Street, is one of two designated urban “Main Street” sites in Indianapolis and is generating a rebirth of business development in the area. During the last five years, the Civic Association has facilitated nearly $1 million in private and public investment for improvements to the East 10th Street corridor.

Among many achievements, the Civic Association and its team of volunteers have created collaborative partnerships between community residents and business owners; have facilitated the new ownership of 10 significant real estate projects within the 10 East Main Street project area; and coordinated more than 25 façade or business signage improvement projects.
